The Quilotoa Loop isn’t even a circle you will walk yourself. It just describes the entire trip, by bus from Latacunga to Sigchos, and then embark on a three-day hike to this incredible volcanic lake.
The views of the emerald-blue water are the reward of hiking from Sigchos to the villages of Isinlivi, Chugchilan and on the final day Quilotoa. Have a look at these photos to get an idea of the journey.
